Scatter nades can kill quicker to proc Devour in a pinch, but Vortex lasts longer and keeps the debuff up longer. Contraverse Hold is the heart of this build. For this build, you should use ...Controverse Hold and well builds can give you almost infinite grenades. I cant use any other exotic after this. I am using Contraverse + max disc + bountiful wells + 3x grenade well mod + devour. With chaos accelerant and devour being equippable you can now become a void god. I find it to be a massive struggle not to have grenades.Imagine using a gun while you have contraverse on lol jk but for real I rarely use weapons w my build, just nades for days. I do however enjoy a void blinding nade launcher (truthteller) w auto loading and demolitionist for those 1/10 of a second moments when I don’t have a charged grenade readyAt 7 you get 46% energy back, and at 6 you get 42% back. Doubling up is therefore pretty worth it, but on a contraverse build I think OPs set up is the best. 4 charge from just 2 orbs with stacks on stacks, 42% from 2 kick-starts but you still get to make an orb on grenade kills. Contraverse Hold isn’t too strong. It gives you improved overcharge, granting a shield while you’re charging and refunding grenade energy when you hit something with the nade. This is suboptimal, but it’s a decent option for those light on Exotics. Lastly, and my personal favorite – Nezarec’s Sin.
